We have a winner...and unfortunately, a loser

The Opening Day contest to guess which manager would get the axe first has come to a close.

In a strange twist, the Kansas City Royals GM Dayton Moore fired manager Trey Hillman Thursday morning, yet allowed him to manage the game Thursday evening. The Royals ended their 7 game losing streak, giving Hillman the opportunity to go out a winner. It was also Zack Greinke's first win of the season.

Hillman and the Royals were 12-23 this season and 152-207 during Hillman's 2+ seasons at the helm.

Ryan aka Oriole Magic and Zman40 were the only two people who picked Hillman in the contest.

I conducted the randomization via random.org and this is what happened on the third and final push o' the random button:

I'm still trying to get down the whole printscreen thing, but Zman is our winner, Hillman the loser. I'll send Z a few packs of cards plus a few Royals to add to his collection.
